When registering for WPLCA conferences online, individuals will be required to check a box that indicates they have read and agreed to the payment/cancellation/registration transfer policy. The checking of the box is required to complete online registration. Individuals submitting paper registrations must initial the policy to indicate their agreement to the policy.

Although we hope you will make every effort to attend the WPLCA conference, we understand that unavoidable conflicts might arise which may prevent you from doing so.  Please review WPLCA’s conference payment, cancellation and registration transfer policy below. Checking the box (for online registrations) or initialing (for paper registrations) indicates you have read and agree to the policy.  

Payment in full is required on or before the close of conference registration. If you register and fail to pay on or before the close of registration your registration is null and void. 

Cancellations received before the close of registration, will be refunded in full. Cancellations received after the close of registration will be assessed a $20-50 administrative fee. All cancellations must be in writing.  Send your cancellation request to:  wplca1@gmail.com

We allow registration transfers to another individual in accordance with the following:  registration fees in effect at the time of the transfer request will apply (for example, if you are a WPLCA member and the person transferred to is not, the individual will be required to pay the difference in registration fees). When registering for WPLCA conferences, please register at the highest professional level at which you are currently employed. For example, if you are employed as a nurse or lactation consultant and are also a La Leche League Leader, you are required to register as a lactation consultant or nurse. If you are employed as a nurse and are working towards certification as a lactation consultant, please register as a nurse. If registering under the discounted student, doula or peer support category, please indicate the category in which you fall.
